Filter press for dewatering tungsten concentrate

A small Filter press produced by XUDA Machinery for a Russian tungsten beneficiation customer has completed trial delivery. The project is located in the North Caucasus region of Russia. Originally using a filter press manufactured during the Soviet era, all operations needed to be manual operation without membrane squeezing function, and due to its long age and difficult maintenance, it was decided to purchase a small automatic membrane filter press produced by XUDA Machinery.

The new filter press is controlled by PLC for all filtration processes such as feeding, cake washing, squeezing, back blow, and cake blow. The filter press will ask the operator if they are allowed to open the filter plate pack. If the operator allows, it will open the plates one by one with a plate shifter. XUDA Machinery will continue to provide customers with necessary spare parts to ensure the long-term stable operation of this filter press.
